We are funded by the government on an annual basis to improve our PE and Sports provision. We spend our funding on high quality teaching and training in PE and Sports, which allows us to offer high quality lessons. Part of the funding also helps to subsidise a range of new extra-curricular opportunities during lunchtimes, ensuring children in every year group have the opportunity to participate as well in after-school activities led by our specialist qualified sports coaches

Our PE and Sports Premium funding for the academic year 2024-2025 is estimated at £18,350.00

The funding will also be used to increase our participation in the school games competitions and also introduce inter house competitions.

25 metre swimming

During 2024/25, in Year 6, 25 out of 30 Y6 pupils (83%) could swim competently, confidently, and proficiently over a distance of at least 25m.

Swimming using a range of strokes

83% of children in Year 6 in 2024/25 can use a range of strokes, including breast-stroke and front crawl.

Performing water rescue safely

In 2024/25, all Year 6 children had access to a water safety course.
