Head’s Welcome

Oxley Primary > Our School > Head’s Welcome

A very warm welcome to Oxley Primary school. As Headteacher of Oxley, I am both proud and pleased to welcome you to our amazing school. At Oxley we have a strong focus on wellbeing and ensuring our pupils are both happy and enjoy coming to school – we feel this is key to them achieving their potential.

I firmly believe every child should love school and it is our job to provide purposeful learning experiences which enthuse, motivate, and engage pupils in their learning.  We are incredibly proud of our pupils – they are kind, keen to learn, and enjoy being challenged.

As Headteacher at Oxley, I am dedicated to continually raising standards across the school and developing our curriculum to give our pupils the very best education possible.   Our dedicated staff, governors, and parents work together to ensure our pupils hold the Oxley “I can attitude” to achieve the best possible learning outcomes.

The school is a popular choice in the village and we pride ourselves on connecting with the local community. I am committed to building positive relationships with the whole school community. I understand the important contribution to children’s achievements at school that parents and careers make, and I am committed to continually developing the relationships between the school and home for everyone’s benefit.

I hope you enjoy exploring our website and finding out more about our school and the way we work. Please do make an appointment to see the school in action; I look forward to showing you around.

Kindest Regards

Mr D Caldwell
Headteacher
