In the Lions and Wolves’ classes we learn lots, work hard take part in a variety of exciting projects such as creating DT projects inspired by Mariana Tabassum and her sustainable housing in Bangladesh; and work together to make the final year a memorable one – before we take those all important steps into our secondary education.
Within our topics, we learn, discuss and debate a range of subjects and are not afraid of delving into important issues such as migration, human rights and equality knowing it is important to make sense of the world we live in today. We also read as much as we can and regularly visit the school library, recommend books to one another during our Thursday morning Book Club and give ourselves a wealth of opportunity to use our increasing knowledge within writing opportunities across the curriculum.
Every year, we visit Warning Zone to further understand how we can manage risks and have enormous fun on our PGL residential – which this year is at Caythorpe Court, Lincolnshire.
Towards the end of the year, we showcase our entrepreneurial skills by fundraising for our end-of Oxley treat and if that wasn’t enough, we also do a spot of performing in our end-of-year production!
